CMA3 positive NOR sites present on chromosome pair no. 5 that corresponds to Ag-NOR site. C-banding showed signals in centromeres of all chromosomes along with strong signals, corresponding to 5S rDNA sites, detected on chromosome pair no. 13. FISH with 45S rDNA site found to be located at telomeric region on p-arms of submetacentric pair no. 5. The 5S rDNA signals found at centromeric regions of acrocentric pair no. 13.
